Permit-It was founded during the building boom in the late 1990's when the permitting process started to change and became a much harder and tedious process. The founder of Permit-It selected the name to embrace the importance of permitting a project even though one might be tempted to do the project without one. He would tell his clients "don't take a chance, just permit it, at least then you're covered". Because of his 15 plus years of experience as a general contractor in the 80's and 90's he understands the frustration and tedious amount of work dealing with the different jurisdictions just to obtain a simple permit. This is why he gave up the hammer and nails and decided to help other Contractors, Developers, Builders, and Home Owners turn their dreams and inspirations into reality. He did this buy starting a permit expediting company in the Portland, OR / Vancouver, WA area taking the hassle out of getting permits.Since then Permit-It has grown into a nationwide permitting expediting and full-service building group with offices in Orlando, FL, Dallas, TX and our newest location in Phoenix, AZ. Permit-It not only expedites permits, they offer structural design and full-service consulting and more. They also work with some of the best structural, civil, environmental, and geo-technical engineers in the industry.
