Pınar Onat was born in Ankara, Turkey. She received her B.A. in Urban Design and Landscape Architecture from Bilkent University. Throughout the heavily design-oriented and interdisciplinary education in Bilkent, she found herself always interested in Lighting Design. Following her education she got a chance to work with designers from different disciplines as a team.Onat followed her passion for lighting design after graduation, and therefore, she started her Master's education in Architectural Lighting Design at Hochschule Wismar, Germany. During the years in Germany, she attended workshops at various lighting festivals. Since she received her Master's degree in 2016, she has given lectures and conducted workshops on lighting design in Landscape Architecture Department at Bilkent University. With a multidisciplinary approach, she enriches her projects with technical and aesthetic values.As a lighting designer, she does many projects of hospitality, office, museum, retail, residential, commercial, leisure, landscape.
