Professional organizations which are a forum for the gathering of Indonesian Engineers, to jointly increase its benefits for the nation and state, as well as mastery, development and empowerment of science and technology and competencies, for added value to the welfare of humanity in general, especially the Indonesian people with the main tasks: 1. Increasing professional competence Indonesian engineers are internationally competitive who are able to answer challenges in the local, national, regional and international arena. 4. Carrying out engineering and professional education advocacy activities. 5. Fostering and developing activities that can encourage the creation of a climate for the growth and development of the Indonesian engineering profession. 6. Building a vehicle for developing and fostering the Indonesian Engineering Professional Competence which is internationally recognized by organizing the Professional Engineer Competency Development Program consistently and continuously.
