Located on the beautiful coast of the Persian Gulf in south Iran and as the only state university in the province of Bushehr, Persian Gulf University's vision is to achieve an outstanding reputation in science and technology, to be innovative, entrepreneurial, and active in the international academic community, in the leadin energy and marine studies and an expert authority in the field of Persian Gulf studies.Our University's initiatives are primarily focused on three strategic areas of excellence: energy, petroleum, gas and petrochemistry; marine studies; and international business and commerce. By prioritizing these areas of scientific knowledge and academic activity, Persian Gulf University aims at strengthening its constructively important role in establishing and maintaining peaceful coexistence and sustainable development as well as enhancing human prosperity and well-being in the Persian Gulf region. Persian Gulf University also welcomes international students from around the world who can apply for all degrees offered by the University.
