The goal of the PES University Model United Nations Society is to promote Model UN as an academic simulation to build diplomacy and public speaking as a key soft skill amongst members by encouraging research and study of international relations, law, policy and spread awareness on current affairs and the latest developments around India and the world.The club also hosts The People's Conference (PeCon), an annual MUN conference and one of South India's most prestigious conferences.For the Record Editorial- The PES MUNSoc aims to analyze and create awareness about pressing issues that plague the globe. We want to use this blog as a platform for analytical pieces from budding diplomats, writers, and journalists. Our blog is a stage for the well-informed, the logical, and the rational. We encourage contributors to write articles dealing with various spheres - economic affairs, legalities, international policies, national policies, and much more - backed with solid research. We believe in the power of using one's voice to spread some knowledge and spark debate, and we hope to grow our numbers through this medium.
