Stichting Petje af Breda zet zich in voor kinderen die opgroeien in financiele en/of sociale achterstandssituaties. Elk kind heeft talent en bij onze weekendschool krijgen de kinderen de kans deze te ontdekken en te ontwikkelen. Ons motto: Wij leren door te doen. 30 zondagen per jaar leren de kinderen over beroepen, gaan ze op bedrijfsbezoek, leren ze presenteren en maken uitstapjes naar bijvoorbeeld musea. Op deze manier wordt hun wereld vergroot en krijgen ze een goed beeld van wat de wereld hen te bieden heeft. Maar belangrijker nog. Ze leren wat zij de wereld te bieden hebben!
