Petroleum Coke Industries Company (PCIC) is one of the largest single Kiln Coke Calciner in the world with the capacity to produce 350, 000 MT of Calcined Petroleum Coke. PCIC is located in Kuwait, which is one of the fast-growing countries in middle-east. The plant is constructed inside the Shuaiba port in a total area of 263,000 m2 to facilitate the logistical advantage and for export purposes.The company has a long-term contract with Kuwait Petroleum Company (KPC) for assured raw material to the plant for procuring about 475,000 to 485,000 MT of Green Petroleum Coke annually to produce 350, 000 MT of Calcined Petroleum Coke.PCIC is formed from an alliance that is connected to the Kuwaiti economy, International economy, and the Petroleum Coke Market & Industry. The company is a global supplier of calcined coke to the aluminum industry and exported to Dubai, Oman, Norway & Indonesia in the first year of operation. PCIC Quality Control & Laboratory offers the full spectrum of coke analyses and technical support to customers of its carbon products. In addition to producing calcined coke, PCIC also produces steam from waste heat from the calcining process.
