The mission of the Petty Harbour Mini Aquarium is to foster curiosity about local marine life and inspire action toward personal and global sustainability through display, interpretation and direct action. The Mini Aquarium is a catch-and-release educational facility, featuring local marine fish and invertebrates in over 30 live viewing habitats. Throughout our season we bring the ocean to eye level for visitors of all ages. Countless moments of discovery, combined with staff and volunteer interaction, set the stage for bright-eyed questions and newfound curiosity for the thousands of people who walk through our doors each season.
