Since early 2014 Placero International has been manufacturing bottles under the brand name 'Pexpo'. The bottles include single wall stainless steel bottles & vacuum hot & cold bottles. In the past other companies have also made attempts to manufacture stainless steel bottles in India but none of them have successfully coped up with the technological complexities involved in such kinds of production. Due to this, these plants have been shut down and these companies like others have started sourcing these bottles from China and selling them under their brand name with minimal effort. It might seem astonishing but the fact is that Indian stainless steel bottle market is flooded with bottles imported from China and we can safely say that more than 99% of the stainless bottles used in India are 'Made in China' and our entity has set out to change this very stat. Another big factor which has brought us to this industry is the widespread use of plastic bottles in Indian households. Bottles made out of plastic are being used while travelling, playing, in fridges etc., though most people are aware of the health hazards associated with their use - especially their reactions with heat and the fact that plastic can never be 100% food safe. Our entity wants to gradually turn the plastic bottle users into users of steel bottles which will contribute to a better health of countless families. We are the sole fully operational stainless steel manufacturing unit in India. We aim to considerably reduce the imports of such bottles in India and address the health concerns revolving around the usage of plastic bottles. Placero International is one of those companies in India who have picked up a fight against countries like China who flood India with technologically complex products at rates which are difficult for domestic manufacturing units to match.
