Started in 2010, Phi Woodworking and Design produces handmade heirloom quality furniture and decor. Often overlooked, handmade furniture offers value in the form of timeless design, enduring construction and quality, and an emphasis on the beauty of materials. Phi Woodworking and design seeks to help educate clients in the myriad of advantages of its pieces over commercially available, mass-produced furniture.Pieces are tailored to the clients' requirements while drawing upon a vocabulary of classic designs. Specialties include aesthetics of the American Arts and Crafts movement of the early 1900's commonly known as "mission" or "craftsman" style, Art Nouveau, Shaker, and contemporary styles. Free, fully rendered CAD images are provided with no-cost price estimates for each custom piece. These CAD models are then used to refine designs as necessary to the client's approval.
