Our MissionThe Philadelphia College Prep Roundtable (PCPR) is a network of practitioners from non-profit and campus-based college prep programs, university admissions and financial aid offices, as well as, the School District of Philadelphia. PCPR exists to increase the number of Philadelphians who prepare, matriculate and graduate from post-secondary institutions.Our FocusOver the years the focus of PCPR has expanded beyond information sharing to include a broader range of activities for supporting practitioners; however, the focus on the success of all students in Philadelphia in achieving a college education has remained a constant center in our work. Today, we focus primarily on three strands of work:● Developing and strengthening a community of practitioners in Philadelphia through networking and professional development opportunities● Representing a diverse group of college prep organizations and advocates, in District and city-level conversations● Advocating for stronger college access and success guidance for students in Philadelphia schools
