In 2003, Joan Hornig combined her love of jewelry and design, business skills and experience with non-profit organizations and created a philanthropically-driven company, Joan Hornig Jewelry - Philanthropy Is Beautiful®. Upon every purchase, the customer may designate any charity of their choice to receive 100% of Joan's profit. In 2017, inline with her unique philanthropic structure, Joan launched Pavé the Way® Jewelry as a way for customers of all ages to be able to give back to the causes they care about most. Today, both collections are encompassed by Philanthropy Is Beautiful® by Joan Hornig. To this day, Joan's donations has exceeded $1 million and are spread among more than 900 nonprofits worldwide.
