Phoenix Forest Details
Phoenix Forest is an association created in October 2019 with the aim of supporting reforestation projects. To do so, during a 6 month trip starting in March 2020, the founders Quentin and Mathieu are planning to travel in Latin America from a plantation site to the other, offering them financial and logistic support, while sharing and promoting these local initiatives on the social medias. This project is motivated by the observation that the vast majority of young people and adults are well aware of the environmental urgency but don't know how to change things. By sharing concrete initiatives, Phoenix Forest aims at inspiring people and show them that they can choose to have a positive impact on their environment.The goal of the project is to collaborate with 5 local actors over 4 countries: Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia. Precisely, in the scope of those 5 partnerships, the support brought by Phoenix Forest corresponds to:-Distributing a share of the funds collected beforehand, from crowdfunding, sponsorships, and events organisation.-Gathering volunteers to increase their workforce, if needed.-Spreading their message to Phoenix's community and increasing the scope of their audience on social networks and in on-site universities.-Sharing with their partners or volunteers the content of what we learned in school (accounting, project management…), if needed.
