Sara Watterson, president and CEO, created the site from the ground up. While working in Edmond, Okla. as a Web and print designer for years, and then becoming a stay-at-home mother with her own design firm, Photo Card Cafe' thrived and swelled as an online business. With an extremely successful 2006, Watterson decided to bring on longtime friend and college roommate Sara Hejl of Fort Worth, Texas as her CMO in 2007. Hejl spent seven years in advertising and PR, and, becoming weary of the agency race, quit her job in account service to assist Watterson and become a stay-at-home mom herself. Now that the business has expanded considerably, "The Saras" enjoyed a sales growth of 1,700 in 2007 over 2006, and continue to steadily grow in the new decade in one of the most popular and exciting industries on the Web.
