Piano & Music Society Details
We are a non-profit student run society established and based at the University of Melbourne. Our goal is to provide a platform for pianists and music lovers to collaborate, socialise and create. We have successfully received a reception of over 200 members in the first week of operation and hope to grow over the coming years. Hosting not only social events for members, but also piano classes, themed performance concerts and many more activities. Upon the completion of our first large scale event, the "From Classical to Pop" piano concert, we successfully filled out Melbourne University Conservatorium of Music's Melba Hall to a record breaking 300+ capacity. We plan to replicate this for our upcoming concert, the newest spectacle, the "Piano Battle Show", this coming October.
