Policy Innovators in Education (PIE) Network supports collaboration among nonprofit groups working to improve K-12 education in their states. 39 nonprofit, civic-led organizations based in 25 states and the District of Columbia are members of the PIE Network. PIE Network leaders gather several times a year to discuss education policy, compare strategies, celebrate victories, and share stories. Nonpartisan in ideas and bipartisan in approach, PIE Network groups provide a consistent credible voice in education policy-making. Goals: Increase student learning & close achievement gaps; expand parent choice; increase teacher effectiveness; improve transparency & accountability; improve funding.
