Pier39-Astoria is a Historical Landmark located in Astoria, Oregon. Its Mission is to preserve the working waterfront and maintain the Hanthorn Cannery, built in 1875. The Cannery was the foundation of the Columbia River Packers Association, the same company that created Bumble Bee Seafoods. With 84,000 Square feet, 10 buildings and 29 tenants, to include Food and Beverage, Mini-Hotel or Suites, Professional Offices, Retail Canvas, Scuba and the Bumble Bee Museum, it truely is a facility that demonstrates the creation of the Fish Canning Industry.
