In June 2004, Pierre Dubois set up Pierre DeRoche SA, a fully owned company located in the Vallée de Joux/Switzerland, manufacturing mechanical luxury watches.For four generations the family of Pierre Dubois has passionately cultivated the science of calculating time, a savoir-faire initiated in 1901 by his great-grandfather, founder of Dubois-Dépraz.Pierre DeRoche is positioned in the high-end mechanical watch segmentation and develops mechanical complicated movements. This approach is eloquently illustrated by:- The concentric chronograph with the time set displayed on a single counter by means of three hands (hours, minutes and seconds) spinning on a single axis.- The Royal Retro complication and its 6 retrograde second hands.- Many other complications such as classical chronographs with or without flyback function, GMT, large date display, power-reserve indicator, reminder ringing function and annual calendar functions, most of the time in various combinations.The watches are crafted in steel, steel and titanium and/or in 18K rose gold.
