In the wake of George Floyd's brutal murder at the hands of Minneapolis Police officer Derek Chauvin, Pimento Jamaican Kitchen stepped up as a community space to meet the needs of everyone affected – business owners and homeowners who lost their buildings during the Uprising, activists and protesters demanding justice, and all Black community members who are subject to the violence of racism.Our mission: To convene a community coalition to reach our goal of Economic Liberation, Social Liberation, and Political Liberation for all Black people.
