Established in 2015, PIP Innovations is a Dutch technology and engineering company delivering new technologies to the potato and vegetable processing industry at large. D-BLADEOur flagship is D-Blade; a high speed, high yield and multifunctional potato & vegetable cutter. It combines vision technology, delta robots and patented multi-purpose blade designs. D-Blade offers the highest capacity and most accurate results in the industry. Using vision technology, it will identify and ignore foreign objects in your product stream.D-Blade, can halve, quarter or portion your (steam peeled) produce, increase yield by removing defects and even pick up your produce for additional processing, i.e. creating hasselback potatoes. The required software is fully developed by PIP Innovations and can be tailored to your specific needs. D-Blade comes with 2, 4 or 6 delta robots per unit. Each robot is able to process your produce up to 5 times per second. This results in a capacity of up to 20 metric tons per hour when halving potatoes with 6 robots, depending on the weight of the potatoes.
