Philip was raised in an orphanage after age 11 because his mother died of cancer and father died of a heart attack, both within two years of one another. Also, his mother was in an abusive marriage which she was able to escape, prior to meeting Philip's father. Because of this, the PipsIt Foundation was created. Ten percent of all revenue generated by PipsIt goes to various charities that support ongoing research into cancer & heart disease, and to help those in need fight back from a battered past.
