Presenting content in a precise and convincing manner has become the most in-demand competency of our time [OECD: „Skills for Jobs"(2017)]. Despite this trend, most education syllabi around the world still fall short in training this skill. At PitchOne, we believe ongoing practice is the key ingredient for students to become confident speakers! With PitchOne we allow teachers to enrich their classroom teachings by uploading course material in just minutes. The students' learning progress, of content learned in classroom or self-taught, is then measured through the submission of a pitch. Pitches are short video presentations in response to tasks or questions given by the teacher. To practice this, there is no limit. Each student can learn at their own pace. After each learning unit, students are assigned a task or question at random, which they must answer in one attempt. The results are then evaluated by the peers. Students not only benefit from repeating the learned content through their peers' pitches, but more importantly, they gain significant confidence in speaking as it becomes part of their daily learning routine.
