Pitti Mosaici is a company which continues the ancient Renaissance technique of the Pietra Dura Inlay, since 1982 in Florence (Italy).In our workshop we create marvelous works of Art, both reproductions from original antique pieces, modern subjects and customer's private commissions.Our products are mostly handmade, as our main target is to preserve the tradition of our ancestors, which is fading year after year.The Inlaid Pietra Dura Mosaic is like a "painting" but not made with colors, but, as the name tells, with Pietra Dura, which are stones: mainly we use Hard & Semi-Precious stones, such as Lapis Lazuli, Malakite, Amethyst, Agaths, Onyx, Chalcedonies and much more; and various marbles, also antique.The final products are mainly beautiful hanging panels, wonderful living/dining/coffee tables.But we do not just create the single artwork: we also are master, since 20 years, in interior & architectural decorations and design (floors, baths, bedrooms, entire Villas, Wineries and much more) and we do projects all around the world, bringing the classical, renaissance but also modern style every where.Visit our website www.pittimosaici.comThanks for reading.Our best regards.Pitti Mosaici
