For starters, you might be wondering why Erstwhile Pictures? We'll tell you. Erstwhile literally means at one time for a time. But here at Erstwhile Pictures, we look at it with a twist, your event, your special day, it only comes around once in a lifetime and we would like to be there to capture it. We capture life's special moments as they happen. Erstwhile has history. We, the Co-Founders, Shray and Parth, have been working in the industry for 7 years, and as fate would have it, we met on a freelance event that we both just happened to be working on together. From that very first gig we both knew that we had an unspoken photographers connection if you will, each knowing what shot the other was thinking of taking, even from a distance. We began working on various photography events together, That initial connection continued to grow into a friendship providing for a strong foundation to start our own company. Which bring us to the now, Erstwhile Pictures. As we started building our company from the ground up, we realized we were missing one piece to the puzzle, and brought Arjun on board to join the Erstwhile Team. Erstwhile Pictures does not have one area of expertise, as we pride ourselves in our versatility. We shoot all events, from baby showers to babys, from sweet sixteens to weddings, and from fashion shows to international film academy awards. While we are based in New York, our service extends far beyond that reach. We have provided our services to the local community of New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. We have also travelled as far west as Los Angeles, as far south as Tampa, and as far north as Boston.
