Whatever music, audio or sound design service you require - be it for personal, artistic, collaborative or commercial reasons - Plain Productions can offer you a premium end product at a competitive price, most importantly giving you the personal experience & balance of input, options & guidance you want.Andrew ChappellWith over 20 years experience in the music industry as a writer, performer, producer and artist both solo and in numerous projects, I've most recently enjoyed success forming & fronting indie/alternative four-piece Plain Sails.Writing and producing the tracks from my home studio in London, I've headlined stages at events including Camden Rocks Festival and toured the UK supporting the likes of Toploader, The VirginMary's and Razz, with national and international radio play including the BBC taking the band to more than 40,000 music & video streams across 53 countries.In previous projects I've performed across the UK, worked both in the studio and live alongside Laurie Jenkins (Kasabian, The 1975, James Blunt, Robbie Williams), Alan Bleay (Arclite Productions, Mint Royale) and supported the likes of Thirteen Senses, recording the debut EP with my first project in the famous Sawmills Studio in Falmouth, Cornwall (Oasis, The Verve, Muse, Robert Plant, Duran Duran).Stepping back from performing and into the studio full time, Plain Productions is the next chapter in my creative story; exploring new opportunities to write, produce & compose, work with artists, publishers, songwriters, film makers and major brands offering premium studio, sound design and audio production services with an experienced, personal touch.
