Mr Patel was awarded with The Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year, 1997 by the Ahmedabad Management Association. Mr Patel has served as President of GDMA (Gujarat Dyestuffs Manufacturer's Association) 1999-2000, President of AMA (Ahmedabad Management Association) 2011-13, Senior Vice President GCCI ( Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry)2014-15. Mr Patel serves as President of GCCI (Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry) 2015-2016.
