Stichting Plant een Olijfboom (Foundation Plant an Olive Tree) envisions a just peace in Palestine and Israel with equality for all citizens, including Palestinian refugees. "Keep hope alive - Plant an olive tree!" is an international campaign of the East Jerusalem YMCA and YWCA Palestine, by planting olive trees together with Palestinian farmers to keep hope alive. In the Netherlands the Foundation Plant an Olive Tree informs people about the situation in Palestine and supports this campaign and other initiatives through awareness raising, sponsoring of olive trees and organising visits to Palestine. Since 2004, people from the Netherlands sponsored more than 20,000 olive trees. You too can sponsor an olive tree: planteenolijfboom.nl/english
