The Plant Futures Initiative (PFI) is a non-profit social enterprise that offers innovative programming designed to bridge the gap between theoretical and applied knowledge through our Annual Symposium, practical curriculum and a dynamic ecosystem of students, faculty, and professional partners. Our mission is to equip a global network of diverse college and graduate students with the educational and professional experiences and relationships to catalyze a movement of Plant Futurists, the next generations of ethical leaders who will guide and accelerate the transition to a sustainable, plant-centric food system.
