Oil & Energy - Lafayette, Louisiana, United States
Plasmera Energy Technologies (PET) is developing the first down-hole tool using high energy plasma for enhanced oil recovery. This will replace the conventional approach of over-producing steam (to compensate for low steam efficiencies) using stationary surface steam generators, resulting in higher efficiency and a much smaller environmental impact.Problem:As an oil field is drilled and the oil processed; the pressure drops in the oil well and less and less oil is easily obtained. When this happens companies simply move on to new areas to drill more wells, leaving most of the oil in the old wells behind.Opportunity:The United States has a multitude of abandoned wells, with 6,000 located in Louisiana alone. PET currently has an assignment of 50% of oil production of a small oil field, with plans in place for a large increase in number of wellsTechnology Solution:PET's new approach and technology will allow us to re-heat and re-pressurize the abandoned wells on-site. These newly revitalized oil wells will then behave more like freshly drilled wells with oil easily recovered in large amounts.Business Solution:PET plans to establish production sharing agreements with production companies to pick up abandoned fields containing abandoned light and heavy oil. We will then use our new technology to breathe new life into those sites through increased oil production, re-establishing them as high value fields with the potential for generating an outstanding capital flow.Impact:Our technology allows PET access to the billions of barrels of left-behind heavy oil. The potential is there and the timing is right - join us in using this exciting technology to meet modern energy needs in an environmentally friendly way.For More Information Feel Free to email us at:plasmeraenergytechnology@gmail.com
