In Fall 2018, as a part of a Social Awareness Project at the Kinloch Pride Gavel Club , a group of student members formed the Plastikeers - a team that would go all out to rid the world of harmful plastics by changing their own habits, the habits of their families and eventually those of the general public. Plastikeers took the first place at the competition and this group was created to support their efforts. The original members were of ages 9 to 14 and the team keeps growing.
