Platform09 was established in 2000 by Catherine Gleeson. We are an adaptive design company drawing on a diverse set of capabilities across a broad field of practice including: human-centered design, curriculum design and delivery, mentorship, illustration, game design, creative facilitation, data visualisation, research and organizational change.Catherine has been a Creative Director of Interactive projects since the early 90's which puts her firmly in the pioneering and innovation space. From authoring successful multi-million dollar pitches, to guiding multidisciplinary teams through the life-cycle of transmedia experiences and services for local and international brands, she applies adaptive, design-thinking from concept to prototype, delivery and documentation. Platform09 maintains a balance between design theory and practice, with an interdisciplinary portfolio across graphic design, brand stewardship, illustration, animation, information graphics and interaction design.Catherine has a deep knowledge of the third sector, drawn from her experience at the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) designing and delivering cutting-edge, high quality undergraduate and postgraduate programs and lecturing into digital programs at UTS and UNSW COFA.Our clients are our creative partners and each project presents an opportunity to gather the threads of knowledge, culture and vision to build meaningful experiences.
