PLATFORMS for CHANGE designs, manufactures and sells a modular, American-Made, women's platform shoe system. The ergonomic Platforms are bordered by quick-release rivets that allow wearers to interchange the tops, and store them flat when not in use, consuming 1/10th the space of traditional shoes. In addition to our Platforms, we sell a collection of quality leather tops. However, what really sets PLATFORMS for CHANGE apart is that our shoe Platforms are engineered to attach open-source shoe tops. Top patterns and design specifications are readily shared. Anyone can design and make tops for our shoe Platforms, from major fashion houses to boutique designers, from local leather shops to the DIY diva at home. Style-conscious shoe lovers and retailers are welcome to design their own tops without paying us commissions or royalties. Our goal is to create an interactive community of individuals and companies that openly share and encourage each other to express themselves in shoes.PLATFORMS for CHANGE are -- and always will be -- responsibly sourced and produced in the USA.
