Players' Theatre Details

Players' Theatre is a non-profit that serves both the McGill and Montreal community. Founded in 1921, Players' Theatre is Montreal's oldest English-speaking black box theatre and one of the few remaining English theatre groups in Montreal. As an independent student group, Players' Theatre is completely operated by undergraduate students, and funding comes strictly from the ticket sales of our shows. Each year we produce four season shows, typically plays, as well produce the annual McGill Drama Festival (MDF) which features original plays that are written, acted, produced, and directed by students. Players' also hosts McGill's only sketch comedy troupe, Bring Your Own Juice, for one week of shows in March.
