Our mission at Plugged in Recovery is to destigmatize and bring awareness to all forms of addiction & mental health matters. We are here to help support all forms of recovery, and will continue working to connect individuals and their families with the resources and information they need to help them recover.Plugged In Recovery has committed to donating a minimum of 20% of all proceeds to scholarships for those who are suffering and are unable to afford treatment.Our website is still in the beginning process of a large and costly build out. Because of our own experiences we have been through these situations, my purpose is to help people to get the right treatment for the particular individual and specifically work to meet their needs. When looking for help to get in a facility, insurance seems to be the next barrier that most really struggle with. If they do not have insurance that covers them at all they usually either get hung up on or may get transferred to a private pay facility that will offer them "a short term loan to cover the 20k-45k admission, and that usually will collect between 13-25% interest. Otherwise if you have insurance they don't bother asking you what you struggle with or what would be best for you, they take you to facilities they have referral deals with.I want to end this treatment and get centers that fit the individual specifically. not the other and my friend David (God Bless his heart) also having friends who sadly based on similar circumstances got to the point they took their own lives because of the mainBe sure to check back here for site roll out updates regularly.
