Plymouth Rock Studios is a proposed a state-of-the-art, earth friendly, digital media/entertainment technology campus. It raised $20m in two rounds of equity and debt financing and awaits its major financing. If fully financed it is projected to break ground in Massachusetts in 2013. The project includes a mixed use real estate development and a component that provides ancillary services, tours, special events and other revenues streams associated with the operation of a full service film, television and commercial digital studio. It is anticipated that Plymouth Rock Studios and its tenants will employ over 1,500 skilled professionals and is expected to generate billions of dollars in direct and indirect economic benefits to Massachusetts.
