Go big or go home.5 pound burritos. Trash can beer pong. Giant donut pool floats. Some things are just better jumbo-size, and t-shirt pockets are no different. They're useful for carrying things like beer and puppies, they're a conversation starter, and you can't help but smile when you come across a crazy giant pocket on a t-shirt.It all started at a barLike many good ideas, the giant pocket shirt started at a bar. The diviest of all neighborhood dive bars, to be exact. We instantly thought of all the fun things you could do with a giant pocket on your chest, like stashing snacks for concerts, carrying small animals, grabbing a round for the boys, or even just holding your phone and your wallet when you need your hands for something else.A few days later we made a few and took them for a test drive. We loved them, everybody else loved them, and BOOM! Pocket Pioneers was born. Are they useful for anything besides having fun?Funny you should ask. Giant pocket shirts are actually helpful for socializing small animals, like puppies and kittens. For orphan puppies and kittens, it helps you act like a surrogate mother. Holding them in the pocket keeps them warm and close to your chest, which is important because they need to be able to feel your heartbeat. It also helps get them comfortable around people.Stimulating the Local EconomyWe grew up in Tampa, so that means two things: 1) We're beach bums. Most of our designs reflect that. And 2) we want to support our local economy. All of our shirts are printed and assembled here using local manufacturers.
