Known to my friends, many of whom I have met through various social media channels and racing activity, as Pocket Rocket Rach, I am the ‘swimbikerun' girl, always up for a new challenge or adventure. I took up running in my first year of college and discovered cycling during my time at University. At the back end of 2017, the challenge of competing in three very different disciplines captured my mind and I have gone onto have some amazing experiences and successes. In 2019, on the back of winning my age group at IRONMAN Lanzarote, I competed at the IRONMAN World Championships in Hawaii. I have now qualified for the ETU Middle Distance Championships this year, which will be the first time I represent Great Britain in a GB trisuit.If I was to sum myself up in a word it would be an ‘adventurist'. Whether its running, hiking, trail running, cycling or exploring, I just love spending time outdoors.
