POHL cz, a.s. is a Czech construction company specialising mainly in performing complex structural, transportation, engineering, utilities and underground constructions and reconstructions of existing objects, all for both the public and the private sector. Foundations of the company POHL cz, a.s. carrying the name of its founder and until today the only shareholder Petr Pohl were laid in 1990. At the beginning the company focused mainly on realizations and reconstructions of underground works in and around Prague. During its later development POHL cz, a.s. broadened its scope both territorially and as to the type of construction works it performed. Nowadays it is therefore able to secure realizations of extensive constructions using the most progressive technologies in all regions of the Czech Republic. The company POHL cz, a.s. has existed (in various legal forms) since almost 23 years, during which it proved its stability and became a medium-sized contractor for construction works on the Czech market. Even during these uneasy times our company enjoys growth of production, steady increase in the number of employees and remains profitable as it has always been in the past. Currently the company employs approximately 240 persons and its turnover exceeds 600 million Czech crowns.
