As a manifestation of the need for professional human resources in the Manpower Sector and at the same time as an answer to the need for reliable, ready-to-use and ready-to-work human resources, on October 26, 2017, the Ministry of Manpower has inaugurated the Manpower Polytechnic which having its address at Jalan Guntur Raya No. 1, Kayuringin Jaya, South Bekasi, Bekasi City, West Java.Manpower Polytechnic or as Polteknaker is a State University in the Ministry of Manpower that organizes vocational education programs in disciplines of science and/or technology related to employment, consisting of 3 (three) Study Programs developed by Polteknaker, namely the Industrial Relations Study Program ( D4), Occupational Health and Safety (D4) and Human Resource Management (D3).At the inauguration of the Polteknaker, several officials at the Ministerial level, academics, elements of Entrepreneurs and Workers / Labor Unions, CEOs of Industry Representatives, Regional Government Officials, and the ranks of the Ministry of Manpower and Polteknaker students. With the inauguration of the Polteknaker, the Ministry of Manpower wants to contribute and at the same time develop a vocational education system in the employment sector through its three Study Programs to meet the needs of professional human resources in the labor aspect as a solution to overcome the still high number of industrial relations disputes and reduce the number of work accidents.From the data there is a public interest in entering the Polteknaker is so great, from the number who registered as many as 2,605 people, after going through the selection stage who passed and only 90 people needed, in the future with the support and participation of the Government, business/industry and labor observers are expected Polteknaker will become one of the educational institutions that can produce competent and professional graduates who are able to compete to become the top 20 Polytechnics at the Global Level.
