PERC is a non-profit organization dedicated to unleashing the power of information for worldwide economic development and asset building. Redefining the think tank model past simply research, our staff develops real-world applications and works with policy makers at all levels to bring about the change we seek. Our scholars have developed metrics to help the Louisiana Recovery Agency and the World Bank track disaster recovery in the United States and worldwide, worked to develop innovative credit scoring applications for the developing world that could lift billions out of poverty, and sought common sense solutions to include up to 54 million Americans in the mainstream credit system, placing them outside the reach of unscrupulous lenders.
