The Polsky Center Innovation Corps (I-Corps) program empowers scientists, researchers, and students to test the commercial potential of their research and ideas. Supported by an I-Corps Site grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and run by the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Chicago, the I-Corps program serves teams working on early-stage ventures related to the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields. The program lasts for 8 weeks, during which teams: receive a National Science Foundation grant; undergo intensive entrepreneurial skill training; and conduct extensive market research.
