Vincent P. Polyak started working for Golden Guernsey Dairy in 1944. In 1973, Vince purchased a wholesale ice cream distributorship where he served Milwaukee area stores, restaurants and hospitals.Vince's son, Michael Polyak, graduated high school in 1975 and began working a Golden Guernsey milk route for the company his father owned with two other partners. By 1985, production and delivery of ice cream was in high demand and Polyak Distributors put a second semi-trailer into commission to be driven by the first employee hired by the company. Polyak Distributors began to increase routes for Roundy's and Kemps milk. With these new routes, Mike decided to diversify, adding new customers such as Coca-Cola and Wisconsin Tissue. After several years of continued rapid growth, Polyak Distributors hired many new employees and contracted many new customers. In 1992, Polyak Distributors became an official "Dray Carrier" of Schneider National. In 2005, Roundy's moved its corporate plant to Oconomowoc where we still ship dedicated loads. Schneider National, along with several other customers statewide, are the backbones of Polyak Distributors, now doing business as Polyak Trucking. Our business has grown to include 30 tractors, employs over 50 people who operate multiple shifts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Polyak Trucking is a family owned and operated business
