Polytechnic Details
Polytechnic is a collaborative graphic design studio working with researchers, community projects, and the cultural sector. The multidisciplinary practice is led by Georgia Cherry (RCA) and Arthur Carey (LCC, Leeds College of Art), whose distinct but complementary backgrounds in arts and humanities inform their critically-engaged approach. We create enduring work founded in typographic detail and exploration, and visually our projects often share traces of manual/analogue design processes. Wider research interests include design for social use, site-oriented work and material innovation.
