Ponder is an educational technology tool for promoting literacy. Using Ponder, teachers and students integrate online written content into their classrooms by flagging news, ideas, information, and opinions that relate to class topics. The flag indicates the connection to class as well as the student's reaction to the excerpt. While they read, Ponder collects data on students' reading behavior. Teachers can use the class feed, which aggregates student flags, and the wealth of data collected by Ponder to better understand, support, and assess their students.
