The Pontifical Institute Notre Dame of Jerusalem Center is the Holy See´s international pilgrim center in the city of Jerusalem. Founded in 1885 to welcome pilgrims visiting the Holy Land the center today continues its mission through its four different sections, including hospitality, education, religious dialogue, and culture. The center features a guesthouse offering hospitality to international pilgrims visiting the Holy Land and in a special way to clergy and consecrated people. The center promotes initiatives as a privileged place of meeting and dialogue among religions, cultures, and peoples and features conference facilities as well as a museum and a center for religious and cultural animation. The center provides training and educational formation activities to local youth in the hospitality, food and beverage, and tourism field through its Hospitality, Education and Training Section (HETS).
