Located underneath the pedestrian footbridge at Southbank lies Melbourne's most unlikely location for a bar. Initially concepted as a pop-up in 2011, Ponyfish quickly developed a cult following and became one of the essential 10 places to visit in the 2017 New York Times visit Melbourne guide. Completely renovated in 2020, Ponyfish was created by Grant Smillie, Jerome Borazio and Andrew Mackinnon.
