Post5 Theatre Company started in August of 2011 with the opening of Romeo and Juliet in the courtyard of the Mile Post 5 artists' community in Montevilla, Portland. For five years, Post5 offered fresh, youthful, ensemble based theatre experiences for actors and accessible professional productions of Shakespearean classics and new works alike. Post5 also became an incubator for experimental and new theatre, with regular late-night clown and sketch-comedy performances. For its fifth season, Post5 moved to a new home in Sellwood, Portland. At the end of 2016 season, Post5 ended its run with a production of "Coyote on a Fence."
