PotaVida provides hardware and software solutions that allow global aid organizations to see behavior change outcomes in real-time. We capture and show field staff accurate usage data in contexts where it's never been available before, enabling dramatically improved outcomes.Our Smart Solar Purifier disinfects 10L of water at a time using only sunlight, and electronically records usage. Usage data is synced to a smartphone, enabling field staff to make decisions and adjust training strategies in real-time using accurate data. While existing household water solutions are only used 5%-25% of the time, our purifier is used by 50%-70% or more of households. PotaVida's mission is to create useful products that provide the highest quality data and analysis tools to our partners in disaster response and international development. We create solutions that work, are simple to use, and result in dramatic benefit to people in need.
