The WHO states that children 5 – 18 years should aim for at least 60 minutes of physical activity every day …with vigorous and bone strengthening activities recommended at least 3 days per week. But the reality is far from this. Approximately only half of South African children and youth are achieving these levels. Globally children are also becoming weaker due to lack of physical activity and don't even have the stamina to comfortably maintain good posture and focus during the school day.The PowerEd team is passionate about addressing these stats. Our goal is to help primary school children (6-14 years) move better and have greater power so they can improve performance in sports, games and school, boost their confidence and enjoy themselves more.We offer group training sessions that focus on fun strength-building and mobility exercises (focusing on Fundamental Movement Skills) using body weight and and some simple equipment, in combination with the latest music.
