Powerful Women's Health is a Pelvic Health PT + Clinical Social Worker team, providing in-home concierge physical therapy and virtual/in-home mental health counseling. Our mission is to help women discover their physical and emotional strength, so that they can live active, confident, fulfilled lives on their own terms.We aim to help improve all aspects of a woman's life starting with her sense of agency, identity, and self-efficacy, and not limited to one discipline. We have the intersection of physical and emotional wellness in mind from the get-go.We provide integrative short-term care packages (PT and mental health counseling together), support groups, and longer-term PT and psychotherapy services.We also participate in spreading awareness and education, as well as shifting aspects of our culture that often maintain unreasonable expectations of pregnant and postpartum women. We want to assist women in discovering that they are powerful, that they get to define their own sense of success, and the constructs that they compare themselves to are often unrealistic and contrived.
